This two-three hour workshop goes over the many wonders of waxing! You will learn how to use and manipulate the different wax products we carry including Annie Sloan Soft Wax and Miss Mustard Seed’s Beeswax. Techniques you will learn include mixing waxes, making wax glaze, creating colored waxes, applying wax topcoats, using gilding wax, hemp oil and tung oil as top coats and more. In addition, we practice straight dark wax application over Graphite Chalk Paint®.

This class is a must for paint enthusiasts as it will open your eyes and broaden your horizons as to the decorative possibilities within a small container of wax! Participants should be comfortable using Chalk Paint® decorative paints by Annie Sloan as waxing principles build on a basic understanding of wax application taught in our Basic Chalk Paint® Workshop.
