Chalkboard Workshop – Monrovia

It’s a two-for class! Painting taught by Michele plus Chalk Art taught by Calligraphy Nerd.
In this three hour class, you will learn how to paint, distress and apply a wax finish to your picture frame that you bring to the class. The frame needs to be 8 in. x 10 in. or 11 in. x 14 in. with no glass insert.
PLUS you will learn how to properly apply and prep a chalkboard insert that we provide using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. And YES! It is different from other paints!
Once you complete your chalkboard and frame, Andrea (Calligraphy Nerd) will teach you the art of beautiful chalk lettering. This workshop is great for beginners and for Chalk Paint® veterans alike! You’ll walk away with a newly painted frame, a cute chalkboard design, and the confidence to letter all the chalkboards in your life!
