You’ll choose your favorite Annie Sloan Paint color and you’ll receive a small sample pot of paint to complete in advance. Bring the freshly painted box to the workshop\, where we’ll apply finishing paint coats and decorative embellishments. Once the boxes are dry\, you’ll receive a choice of Re-design by Prima design transfers to add to your jewelry boxes for those unique\, artistic embellishments. Finally\, we’ll finish each box with a buttery soft wax top coat. Jewelry boxes are available for purchase if you are unable to find one of your own or don’t currently own one. \nHere are the rules: \n\nAll supplies are included so you don’t need to bring any special tools or supplies.\nJewelry boxes are included\, however if you have a small jewelry box you are welcome to bring it for the workshop.\nWe are maxing the in person class size to just six people.\nThe workshop fee is for one person (unless you signed up for a couples class). SUMMARY:Boho Hand Stamped Copper Cuff Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Book your Spot\nJoin our very talented guest instructor Despina! \nLearn how to create your own beautiful Boho Hand Stamped Copper Cuff! We will first determine the size of cuff you will be making. A variety of stamps will be provided to select from so you can stamp your designs on a practice strip first before you begin work on your actual cuff. You will be annealing (heating) your piece of copper with a torch periodically to soften it for deeper impressions. Your cuff will then be refined and smoothed by filing and sanding. Final shaping of the cuff will be done with special pliers to achieve the perfect fit. Your cuff will then be shaped and work hardened on a mandrel to help keep its shape. Lastly\, patina will be added to highlight the details\, and you will finish it up by polishing. \n\nPrerequisite – Torch experience helpful but not required. \n$95 Price of class includes 14g Copper Wire Strip use of tools\, custom stamps\, torch and fuel\, to complete project.
