This class covers the basics of how to apply\, distress and wax over common furniture finishes. We’ll answer all the questions you didn’t even know you had and cover the most frequently asked questions we get from our customers! \nHere are the rules: \n\nBring a small piece of furniture (like a small chair\, side table or stool)\nAll supplies are included so you don’t need to bring any special tools or supplies\nYou’ll need to get your first coat of paint on in advance! We’ll hook you up with the paint that you need!!!! This allows us to dive right into the fun of things and allows you to come ready with questions and a bit of experience! If getting to the shop in advance is a problem\, no worries…just select shipping at check-out\, include your color of choice in the comments and we’ll get a small pot shipped out to you!\nWe are maxing the in person class size to just four people.\nThe workshop fee is for one person (unless you signed up for a couples class). If the hubby (or your bestie\, or mom\, or sister\, or running partner. etc.) wants to come “observe” from the sidelines\, they’ll have to pay for they’re own spot. We’re more than happy to send silent observers to enjoy the downtown shops and eateries.  It’s super awkward when we have to ask people to leave so PLEASE don’t make us do it.\n\n*ALL WORKSHOPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!!! SUMMARY:Boho Hand Stamped Copper Cuff Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Book your Spot\nJoin our very talented guest instructor Despina!\nLearn how to create your own beautiful Boho Hand Stamped Copper Cuff! We will first determine the size of cuff you will be making. A variety of stamps will be provided to select from so you can stamp your designs on a practice strip first before you begin work on your actual cuff. You will be annealing (heating) your piece of copper with a torch periodically to soften it for deeper impressions. Your cuff will then be refined and smoothed by filing and sanding. Final shaping of the cuff will be done with special pliers to achieve the perfect fit. Your cuff will then be shaped and work hardened on a mandrel to help keep its shape. Lastly\, patina will be added to highlight the details\, and you will finish it up by polishing. \n\nPrerequisite – Torch experience helpful but not required. \n$95 Price of class includes 14g Copper Wire Strip use of tools\, custom stamps\, torch and fuel\, to complete project.

Join guest instructor Aimee Spriggs\, who will be teaching you have to use and create a Linocut. This is a rubber stamp that can be used to decorate bags\, cards\, wall hangings etc. She’ll provide you a rubber block\, inks\, and a blank canvas tapestry to cover with your newly created stamp. \nYou need to provide your own carving tools which will be e-mailed in a link.
