Description

Did you know there is an art to mixing colors?

Black doesn’t necessarily make a color darker. To achieve a lovely burlap color you mix Emile (light purple) and Arles (mustard yellow). Learn the intricacies of color mixing in this project packed workshop!

During this class, you will work through the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Workbook and learn about working with color mixes as well as design concepts. We’ll be spending time mixing the Spring 2016 Pantone® colors to create both a lovely palette in your workbook as well as a dye for fabric.

PLUS, we will be providing a delicious catered lunch.

At the end of the class, you will have learned:

• The recipes for the 2016 Pantone® colors

• How to measure and mix paint

• How to turn Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® into a dye

• How to dye fabric

You will take home a completed dyed bunting banner as well as your own copy of the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Workbook.

Paint and supplies provided.

*ALL WORKSHOPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!!! FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF RESERVATION AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND. PLEASE CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULES IF YOU SIGN-UP FOR ONE OF OUR HIGHLY DEMANDED CLASSES!
