Description

This beginning workshop will focus on the basics of how to utilize social media platforms to enhance business performance. We will talk about the ever changing world of algorithms, how to maximize the use of hashtags, creating an organic following, curating accounts and scheduling posts. Participants will need to have an Instagram account, should have a business Facebook page, and would benefit from creating Pinterest & YouTube accounts before the day of the workshop.

You will need to bring a tablet or lap top computer with either wifi or 4g access to the internet. Phones will work as well, though we recommend a device with a larger screen.

    • Who is an “artisan business”?
      • An artisan business, for the purposes of this workshop series, is one that independently owned and operated by an entrepreneur. You may work alone, have a few employees, or occasionally hire the assistance of friends, family, or freelancers. You may offer handmade, vintage, or repurposed merchandise or a specialized service. You are not receiving a paycheck or commission from a larger corporation. Your business earns money directly from customers who purchase your merchandise or from clients who hire you for a specialized service.
