Beginner Workshop | Learn the Basics & Build Confidence

Curious what makes Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® so special? This hands-on workshop is the perfect place to start.

In this class, you’ll learn the foundational techniques that transform ordinary furniture into something beautiful. We’ll walk you through how to properly apply paint, create a soft distressed finish, and seal your piece with wax for a professional result.

Whether you’re brand new or have dabbled a bit, we’ll answer all the questions you didn’t even know you had—along with the most common ones we hear in the shop every day.

🖌️ Before You Arrive

To make the most of our time together, we ask that you apply your first coat of paint before class.

We’ve made this super easy:

• Stop by the shop and we’ll set you up with the perfect paint color

• OR select shipping at checkout, leave your color choice in the comments, and we’ll send a sample pot your way

Short on time? No problem—just plan to arrive 45–60 minutes early to apply your first coat before class begins.

Your workshop fee reserves one seat per person.
