In honor of Star Wars Day, May the 4th, I’ve re-launched my 2022 themed dresser. This piece invites you to take a trip to the dark side. The silhouette of Darth Vader has a space scene featuring a tie fighter attack chasing the Millennium Falcon. Metallic paint adds a subtle shine to the lightsaber, hyper space and areas of the Death Star. A custom Millennium Falcon knobs disappears as it enters hyperspace. Each element has been meticulously painted by hand.
The framework of the dresser is painted in a mottled shade of Annie Sloan Paris Grey and French Linen to give it an industrial vibe.
The entire piece is sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax to give it long term protection and durability.
I only complete one Star Wars themed dresser a year, and it is a labor of love and will never be replicated as every element has been meticulously designed by myself and hand painted. I hope it goes to a fan, young or old. You can see additional photos and process reels on my Instagram page.
