Annie Sloan Trim Paint in Pure is so named because it is a true, clean, colourless white containing only white pigments. Crisp in its authenticity but without any of the coldness of a blue-tinted “brilliant” white. Due to the pigment-free nature of the colour additional coats may be required to achieve opacity. Will give a crisp and fresh finish on skirting. Use with Upstate Blue to create a traditional Gustavian or Swedish look.
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from any dust, debris or oil-based contaminants before applying Annie Sloan Trim Paint. We advise using a water-based detergent such as sugar soap to thoroughly clean. If you are painting a metal surface, we advise applying a specialist primer underneath Trim Paint. There is no need to apply Wax or Lacquer after Annie Sloan Trim Paint.
Annie Sloan Trim Paint is formulated for interior use on wood and metal, and has two main purposes. Firstly, it’s been designed to be used in conjunction with Annie Sloan Wall Paint on skirting, millwork, architraves, doors and other busy areas of the home. Secondly, it’s been developed to offer a contemporary-looking “one-step” solution to painting wooden and metal furniture. There is no need to apply Chalk Paint Wax or Lacquer to Annie Sloan Trim Paint.
