I might be going to Europe for 11 days in December. I haven’t booked my trip yet, so it isn’t for sure, but that hasn’t stopped me from spending my nights scouring the internet for European flea markets and antique shopping spots! The process has inspired me and gotten me extra excited about thrifting.
It got me thinking about how infrequently I actually hit up our own local flea markets. Here I am, thinking about every possible venue in Europe, and I don’t even head down to Long Beach or the Rose Bowl for our nationally renowned Fleas.
The process of looking at booth pictures coupled with the fact that I need to move a lot of inventory quickly to get ready for our Christmas product gave me just the kick in the pants I needed to set up my own Flea Booth. I made a very last minute decision to take a couple of truck loads down to the Irvine Antique Market this Sunday!
I sold a boatload of furniture and knobs last April and had a blast participating.
This time around, I’m taking even more knobs and hooks with me, washi tape and bakers twine, burlap project bags, burlap bows, new fabrics and German Glass glitter.
Oh yeah…furniture, too.
This French dresser which I’ve had for too long will go down with me. I will be selling it for a hot $175!
This vanity will go, too. $225 with the matching bench.
Ugh…this hall tree which I’ve had for like two years. Seriously…what’s not to like about this!? I gotta get this out!
I will be setting up two or three beds including this queen size matching headboard, footboard and side rails!
Tricycle Red queen size headboard and footboard with side rails and gold gilding. Bling!
The Eiffel Tower and Tricycle Red side table are going.
I hope all this stuff fits!
Come find me in Irvine, this Sunday, November 3rd! Click on this link for directions!
Wow! You have SOOOO many great things there! I LOVE that French dresser and the green piece is marvelous- xo Diana
