Ready to paint your kitchen cabinets using Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan? Before you dive in, we recommend taking this extremely informative 3-hour workshop to learn everything you need to know about painting cabinets. It’s a bit different than painting furniture!

In this workshop we work with you to help you find your perfect Chalk Paint® color and give you step by step instruction through the entire process while you paint, distress and wax  4 of your kitchen cabinet doors brought from home.

The BEST part of this workshop is that we give you all the supplies you need to start your project at home! We give you a quart of Chalk Paint®, large can of Clear Wax, small wax brush, small Annie Sloan paint brush and brush soap for you to take home at the end of the class!

In this workshop, you will:

• Learn how to prepare and treat your cabinets before painting

• Learn how to apply Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® to your cabinets

• Learn how to distress

• Learn how to apply a wax topcoat for a durable finish

• Receive an entire Chalk Paint® starter kit!

Here are the rules:

• Bring in no more than 4 of your cabinet doors. You do not need to sand or prime your cabinets before you bring them in.

• No advanced techniques will be taught in our this class. So if you have plans of layering colors or applying washes, you’ll want to hold out for one of our Advanced Decorative Finishes Workshops.

• The workshop fee is for one person (unless you signed up for a couples class). If the hubby (or your bestie, or mom, or sister, or running partner. etc.) wants to come “observe” from the sidelines, they’ll have to pay for they’re own spot. We’re more than happy to send silent observers to enjoy the downtown shops and eateries.  It’s super awkward when we have to ask people to leave so PLEASE don’t make us do it.
