13 new pieces of furniture in the store today! Mostly chairs but a number of other small pieces. I thought I would take some store pics since it’s been awhile!

For the new stuff…

3-Drawer chest of drawers painted in Versailles with original wood top.

My mom painted this little side table in Coco. It’s her first painted piece in the store…but hopefully not her last (wink, wink…:) )

I picked up this antique Eastlake chair last weekend because I loved the golden shade on the upholstery and the hand embroidery on the seat. I painted the woodwork in Emperors Silk to draw out the red in the embroidery. It came out really nice.

This set of 4 dining room chairs is new this week and was intended to stay at my house. I love, love, love how they came out but the height on them made my kitchenette area feel claustrophobic. So, here they are in the store and I’m still on the hunt for new kitchen chairs for me. I painted them in a buttery yellow, sage green, teal blue and slate blue. And, I love how nicely they pair with this farmhouse style drop leaf table!

A fabulous Glendoran was generous enough to give me this amazing Steamer Trunk. The inside of the lid is covered with what appears to be Russian images and literature from the 1930’s. It’s so cool and amazingly huge!
I wrote about these chairs earlier this week and ended up taking them home with me, too. Since the other chairs were too big, I thought these might be a better fit in my kitchen. But, they were a little too small. I took detailed shots of each one and will be posting them on etsy for individual sale.
I also finished a few custom ordered chairs this week, this being one of them.
And, we finally finished the inside of this armoire. Dad cut out the top two drawers that were broken and framed out a nice shelf for added storage. I would kill for this kind of storage space for all my clothes and love how functional and versatile the inside of this is. Thanks Dad!
