Four years ago I painted an older twin bed Emperors Silk. I just went to paint the matching bed for my other son the same color and realized they were now different. They are going in the same room or else I wouldn’t care. Could you please tell me how to color match Emperors silk?!?! I’ve been searching everywhere. Thank you!!
Kristen, it’s true that Emperors Silk is quite different…much brighter. I would get a small pot of Primer Red and add a little bit of that to richen the new shade of Emperors Silk. Honfleur also might work well. I haven’t done an exact mix yet, but I’ll start playing with the different colors. Once I find the right combo, I’ll post it on Instagram!
