Description
This is a great workshop to bring a girlfriend. This is going to be a fun and engaging workshop that will teach you how to apply a Design Transfer and then embellish it with added touches of paint, pearlescent and metallic finishes. I call it art for those that aren’t adept at being artistic. 90% of the art form has been created for you. You are the orchestrator of design placement and color enhancement. In this class, you will have your choice of a selection of design transfers ($32 or less), a framed (or unframed) canvas back drop in a variety of sizes. We’ll be tapping into dozens of colors of Annie Sloan Paint and learning how to use artist brushes in various sizes. Arrive early to get first pick at the selection of items available. This is an all day workshop with ample time to complete your project. The first hour to two will be workshop driven with plenty of instruction while the remaining time will be for project completion and questions.
Here are the rules:
- All supplies are included so you don’t need to bring any special tools or supplies.
- We are maxing the in person class size to just four people.
- The workshop fee is for one person (unless you signed up for a couples class). If the hubby (or your bestie, or mom, or sister, or running partner. etc.) wants to come “observe” from the sidelines, they’ll have to pay for they’re own spot. We’re more than happy to send silent observers to enjoy the downtown shops and eateries. It’s super awkward when we have to ask people to leave so PLEASE don’t make us do it.
- A microwave and refrigerator is available if you would like to bring drinks and/or food. There will be a 30-45 minute break for you to grab lunch at one of the area restaurants.
