Mixed Metal Etching, Texturing & Riveting

Have you ever wondered how a design is added to metal? One way to do it is with a rolling mill, if you are lucky enough to own one, if not…Etching can be your answer! We will learn how to etch on copper and brass base metals, add texture by hammering, and punch & rivet pieces together for a layered look. You can create earrings, pendants, links, etc., it’s up to you! As a final touch, a patina can be added to your pieces to bring out even more detail if desired.

Class fee of $125 includes: Instruction, use of stamps, ink, tools, etching solution, copper & brass blanks (limited to what will fit in the designated dipping area), and patina. No experience necessary.
