When words of inspiration meet clever interior design. This piece is truly utilizing furniture as a canvas for messaging and artwork. The lettering is hand-painted with a find gold gilded shading around each letter. The floral design is “Life in Bloom,” a large transfer by redesign by Prima. Three dimension flowers adorn the top right corner of the dresser and are painted in the same color as the lettering. The transfer and hand-painted elements are on top of a textured stencil design and gold gilded sheets accentuate details within the floral patterns. The entire piece is sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax and the base color serving as a canvas for the artwork is Annie Sloan Florence.
As is the case with most vintage pieces of furniture, there are natural time worn flaws that add character and charm to the piece. The drawers open and close well and the top has been stripped down to the natural wood and sealed with clear wax.
