Vintage Low Boy Dresser with Modern Knobs

Plenty of storage space is packed into this stylish low boy dresser. This piece is solid wood with dove tail drawers for the ultimate sturdy structure. The inside and outside have been painted in a custom color mix of Amsterdam Green, Antibes Green and Firle for this rich earthy shade. The original top has been replaced with solid, finished pine. I stenciled a flowing design using Annie Sloan lacquer and used Dark Wax to stain the wood around the stencil and seal the entire top. You’ll notice that the middle of the dresser is slightly bowed, leaving about a one inch gap between the wood top and dresser base. Because it sits low on the ground, it isn’t glaringly noticeable. And, the structure of the dresser is otherwise intact and solid.
