Traditional Desk with a Feisty Makeover

Description

This is a big guy painted front and back. The free-standing executive desk has traditional details like carved edges, turned legs and classic handles but it got a bit rebellious and went with bold colors for blended finishes and tribal texture on the drawers. The desk is painted in Annie Sloan Florence and Capri Pink and then blended throughout adding layers of whimsical purples in various shades. Then, the desk drawers have been embossed with a geometric stencil pattern giving a tribal effect and emphasized with black wax. The original hardware and brass fittings have been sprayed black for a more modern look. The desk comes with a plexiglass top to add protection or cover important documents.
