Vintage Chest on Chest Dresser

Description

This dresser is a classic beauty made contemporary with bold and bright colors. The body is painted in Annie Sloan Giverny, a beautiful coastal blue. But, shades of Antibes Green, Florence, Capri Pink are blended throughout, offset by a layered stencil treatment in whites, navies and greens. To create the ideal blending against the backdrop of the slightly worn dresser, I used a frottage technique that adds artistic texture and seamless blending. The entire piece is sealed with Clear Wax and gold gilding wax accents the finer details of the wood elements.
